How to Change Flash Object Color
You can change the color of your Merge Shapes and Drawing Objects multiple ways in Flash. In this example we will use the Properties panel, Swatches panel and Color panel.
Add a rectangular object to the workspace with the Rectangle tool (r key).
With the rectangle selected click the Fill and Stroke color boxes in the Properties panel (Cmd/F3 (PC-Ctrl/F3)) to change the object colors.
With the rectangle still selected, click the Fill and Stroke color boxes in the Tools panel to select a new color.
Click the Stroke or Fill icon above the color box in the Tools panel. With the rectangle still selected, choose Window > Swatches.
Click on a color swatch to set the color.
Choose Window > Color and click the color picker to select a new color.
With the rectangle deselected, choose a Fill color and select the Paint Bucket tool (k key). Then click the object's fill area.
With the rectangle deselected, choose a Stroke color and select the Ink Bottle tool (s key). Then click the object's stroke.
