Moving Frames and Keyframes
Flash CS4 Tutorial
How to Move Frames and Keyframes on the Flash Timeline
End Frames appear with small rectangles and keyframes are marked with little circles. When working in Flash, it is important to understand the difference between frames and keyframes.
Open a new document and add a second layer.
Click frame ten of the upper layer and press F6 to add a keyframe.
Click frame ten of the lower layer and press F5 to extend the content to frame ten.
To move the keyframe at frame ten of the upper layer, click the keyframe and drag it to the left.
To move the end frame at frame ten of the lower layer, Cmd-click (PC - Ctrl-click) the frame and drag it to the left or right. You can tell that your curser is correctly positioned when you see the left/right arrows.
