How to Save a GIF Animation in Photoshop
Once you have created your animation, it needs to be saved so you can add it to your website. For more information on building an animation, see topic Creating a GIF Animation.
Open a Photoshop document that contains an animation.
Choose Optimize Animation from the Timeline Menu. Click OK.
From the File menu, choose Save for Web & Devices.
Set the Format to GIF, Color to Selective and the Dither to No Dither. These settings may vary if you have images in your animation. Watch the preview to determine the best method.
You can set the looping options to Once, Forever or a specific number of loops. Click Save to save your file.
