How to Remove Perspective from a Texture in Photoshop

Capturing texture map images often leads to images with skewed surfaces or obvious vanishing points.

In this topic we'll show how to quickly remove any perspective distortion from an image.

Step One

Open an image file in Photoshop (File > Open).

Step Two

Select the Perspective Crop tool (c key) then drag a rectangle in the document.

Step Three

Drag the corners of the crop selection to match the image's perspective.

Step Four

Press Enter to crop the image and remove its distortion.

Enable and Disable the Grid

The Grid feature can be turned on and off in the Perspective Crop tool options.
