How to Change Shape Color or Gradient in Photoshop
Using the color picker and gradient library you can choose multiple shape color schemes.
Open a blank document in Photoshop (File > New). Set the size to 500 pixels by 500 pixels at 72 ppi.
Select the Custom Shape tool. Set the tool options to Shape Layers and choose a shape from the pull-down menu.
Click-drag to add your new shape to the workspace. Hold the Shift key to constrain proportions.
Double-click the Shape Layer thumbnail to open the Color Picker and change the color.
With the Shape Layer selected, choose Gradient Overlay from the Layer Style menu.
Choose a gradient by clicking on the triangle next to the Gradient sample swatch.
You can also set the Angle and Gradient Style in the dialog box. Click OK to accept your settings.
